Age Limit: 18- 35 Years as on Closing date of online application ( Maximum 40 years for SCI ST
candidates and maximum 38 years for OBC candidates, wherever posts are reserved). Age relaxation for Person with Disability (PWD) (minimum 40% and above disability), Ex-serviceman as per Government of India norms.
Fees: (For Post Code 002, 003, 004, 005, 006 & 007) There will be a non-refundable Application Fee of~ 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application. Candidates may make the payment 'online' using Internet Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card or 'Offline' by mode of challan by visiting nearest SBI Branch. The last date for fee payment is 01/09/2018, except for challan mode which will be 06/09/2018.
Those candidates who can not submit fee online may also choose the offline payment mode through SBI Challan using the same platform. Please note their receipt of payment of fees must reach at PRL before closing date, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
All Women candidates; Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman
[EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
Selection Process:
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection.
There will be an initial screening based on the on-line application. The criteria for screening will be decided vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by the Director, PRL.
A Written Test will be conducted for the Screened-In candidates & based on the written test scores, required no. of candidates alone shall be called for skill test. Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth ofthe prescribed curriculum. The skill test will be purely on 'go-no-go' basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale with minimum 60% for qualification. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. In case, sufficient number of SC/ST/OBC candidates are not available for filling-up the vacancies reserved for these categories, relaxation will be extended to candidates belonging to the respective category, to make good the short-fall. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the essential qualification will be the tie-breaker.
