Posts: Research Associate (RA)
A research associate (RA) position is available from July 2018 at IIM Ahmedabad for a project on Sexual harassment at the workplace. Responsibilities of the research associate include helping in setting-up interviews, conducting interviews, transcribing and conducting secondary research. The RA will be employed for a period of six months. Extension beyond six months upto a year may be possible depending on the RA’s performance, at the discretion of the faculty supervisors.
The RA will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, and be required to travel within Ahmedabad and to Mumbai (travel expenses will be covered). The RA will be paid a consolidated monthly gross salary of INR 30,000 (non-negotiable). Other employment benefits (if any) will be determined by institute policies
Educational Qualification: Bachelors or equivalent degree from a reputed institution with experience in conducting qualitative research OR a master’s degree from a reputed institution. We prefer candidates with a degree in social sciences, or a subject related to the project. The candidate should also be proficient in Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi and Gujarati will be an added bonus
